In the Black Sands Subdivision near Kalapana on the Big Island Hawaii of Hawaii we have purchased a small lot of undeveloped land.

We are looking for a practical minded jack-of-all-trades single person, couple or group of up to 5 persons who would like to have the opportunity to develop this land in exchange for a nominal rent of only $75 a month for a group or $50 a month for an individual.

In the beginning you will be camping but the land is located on a guava grove and you will be using your skills to create a nice place there to live using the guava trees and other materials available on the land.

This offer is only open to those who feel they would like to work with pioneering a new piece of land and building up a basic shelter for living.

You must have a car as there is no water or electricity on the land. However, county drinking water is available a short drive away.

We can lend you some tools and some volunteer assistance but for the most part you will be on your own using your own resources and equipment.

This project is ideal for those who have imagination and the work ethic to see a project through. So, if you feel like the Swiss Family Robinson or Robinson Crusoe then this deal is for you!

We can offer a Volunteer stay for up to six months. But we can extend this if you are doing a really good job!
