Private Camping and Campground in Hawaii
For those who have their own camping equipent we offer private camping!
Unlike public campgrounds, private camping allows you to set up your tent and then be able to leave it with security and peace of mind as you explore the island.
However, please note that we are in the Rainforest so it rains! This means that "normal" camping with just a tent might not be so comfortable. We have set up our official private camping spot under a tarp shelter so that your tent is protected from the full force of the rain.
Of course if you have a super high tech rainproof tent then you are welcome to camp in the crater. Yes we have a spot in our volcanic crater that is ideal for campers!
Those with RV's or camper vans can also stay at Hedonisia for the same price as private camping.
