HOSTEL RESERVATION INFORMATION
- Check our Accommodation Price List for latest rates.
- You can reserve by telephone. Just call: 808-430-2545 or 808-269-2825. However, if booking by telephone please note that Volunteers or Guests who are staying for 3 days or less must pay in full to confirm reservation.
- Once you have received a price quote for your reservation either by email or telephone you may pay for your reservation.
- If staying for more than 3 days then 50% of payment is due with the remainder due upon arrival.
- Once Reservation payment is received you will get a confirmation by e-mail.
- When Reservation Payment is received then the Price Rate is fixed for that period. Thus pre-paid guests do not have to worry about any price increases that may occur before they arrive.
- All prices DO NOT include 12.42% Hawaiian State tax. ( 8.25% Hawaiian Transit Accommodation Tax + 4.17% General Excise Tax.)
- Hedonisia Eco-hostel is small; only 10 spaces on 3.72 acres of land so space is limited. As a result we can be fully booked rather quickly.
So we suggest that Guests or Volunteers make their reservations as soon as they are sure of their travel dates.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
All Visitors or Volunteers: You can make your Reservation payment using one of the following options:
1) You can just phone us to make your Reservation Deposit. Call 808-430-2545 or 808-269-2825. Please have your credit card handy.
2) If we have already given you your price quote for your accommodations by either telephone or email and you wish to pay online, you may do so securely with your credit card via the onine payment gateway: Paypal. Make Paypal payment to the Hedonisia Hawaii email address: hawaii@hedonisia.com
Please notify us by email once you have made your payment and we will send you confirmation of your Work Dates in Hawaii or Budget Rental Accommodation Confirmation via email.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
- Initial 10% Booking Deposit for Guests who book via Hostelworld is non-Refundable. These funds are held by Hostelworld.
- The only other penalty that Hedonisia charges is a simple 1-night Cancellation Fee for Guests. Please note that we charge this fee because we are a small hostel of only 10 spaces. Once you book then we reserve that space for you. This means that we take no other bookings for this space so when you cancel it means that we have less time to fill that booking.
- If you decide upon arrival that you wish to cancel your stay then the same 1-night Cancellation Fee applies. However, once you begin your stay, the full booking payment is applied and no refunds are issued.
- It is not our policy to issue refunds or pro-rate lodging cost if a Guest decides to leave after completing more than a third of their stay. However, we will make certain humanitarian exceptions and issue a partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
- Volunteers who cancel their reservations prior to arrival are subject to a one-night Cancellation Fee unless there are complications or a peak season booking at which point a 3-day cancellation fee applies.
CHANGING DATES or ACCOMMODATION
If you wish to change your arrival and/or departure dates or lodgings at Hedonisia Hawaii please note that there is a $10 processing fee. In addition, we are only able to change dates or lodgings based upon availability.
Additional SERVICES
- Hedonisia Hawaii is 28 miles away from the Airport. For visitors who are not renting a car, we offer a Pick up service from Hilo Airport for $25.- Flat Rate. For late night or early morning pickups there is an extra $5 surcharge.
- From Kona Airport the pickup fee is $75 with at least one week notice.
- We offer a Flat Rate Wireless Internet Access for $10 for the entire time of your stay!
- Guests and Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation. However, we offer Driving Services and a Volcano Tour. Please make reservations in advance.
- Sometimes we have a car available for guests or Volunteers at $35 a day. This is not a car rental service. Simply a Shared Vehicle Expense. Drivers must have excellent driving record or personal insurance to use this service.
